Nice run by Luke

Luke knows how to Juke and here is a great video of him demonstrating just that.  LOVE how the players run into each other and fall down.

Luke making it look easy

Sometimes Luke makes playing the game of football look all too easy. He is number 9 and his team had a great win today shutting out the Buccaneers 21-0.

Floor routine at Paisley's first gymnastics meet

Here is Paisley doing her floor routine at her very first gymnastics meet.  She had a great time and did an excellent job.  She got a score of 9.0

Paisley's 1st gymnastics meet, BAR ROUTINE

Paisley competed in her 1st official gymnastics meet! Here is her bar routine. It was the very first event she did and wasn't the best we have seen her do, but it was still really good. She got a score of 9.2!  Competition season has just started. We have several more meets to go and she was the cutest little gymnast ever. Looking very official in all her gear!

Alana and Hailey visit Texas

Perriton mouth photo for old times sake.
Cousins together! My kids were so excited to meet Hailey.  They loved playing with her. She is such a sweet little girl.  See....Perriton mouth is hereditary, even Hailey does it! Knox isn't so keen on taking cousin pics haha.

First Day of School 2013

Can't believe we are already back into school.  This year Ethen started high school. Here he is on the 1st morning of 9th grade. He's already been practicing football for 3 weeks. Texas football y'all!

Luke is in 3rd grade grade this year.  He pretty much will only wear athletic clothing and it has to be soft or silky.

Phoebe is now in 7th grade.  She started running cross country and will audition to be in the school play Annie.

I also had to include a picture of Phoebe's hair on the 1st day of school. I love how she asks me to come up with a style and make it special for the 1st day.
Our little Paisley is now in 1st grade.  She followed her sister's idea and had all her outfits laid out for the entire week.
Ethen had already left by the time all of these kids were ready so he isn't in this group shot.  Aren't they adorable?

Paisley Graduates Kindergarten

Our little lovebug graduated kindergarten today. They had a cute beach theme with songs and Paisley even had a speaking part. She looked adorable today. I can not believe how quickly this past school year has gone by. She is growing up way too fast for me.

Family Bonding Patio Cover Building

Scott had a vision for our backyard patio and we were able to work together as a family to bring it to life.  Texas summers are hot and on our patio side of the house the sun beats down in the afternoon.  We considered hiring a company to build a patio cover for us but after getting quotes Scott knew we could do it ourselves for considerably less.  He worked out all of the details on supplies and we all went to work.  It ended up looking amazing and has made the backyard look so complete.  It was also really awesome to work together as a family to accomplish such a big task.  Everyone feels a little pride about our project.  I am so grateful to have a husband that is so handy and willing to teach us all.  I think learning experiences like this are so good for the kids.

Phoebe's 1st school play

Phoebe played Lady Marie in a school play called A Princess Knight.  She had so much fun being on stage and being a part of the performance.  She had several rehearsals and smiled through it all.  She was born to be on stage.  She is so comfortable there and just beams.  I was able to be backstage before the performances and help several of the girls and boys with their hair and makeup.  We did Phoebe's hair before arriving as it was pretty intricate and took some time.  They had a total of two shows and two different days.  On the second day the main Prince did not show up for the performance and the drama director filled in for his part.  There was a little nervousness from the kids at first, but it all worked out fine.

I was able to capture some fun facial expressions she made.  She got a kick out of seeing them afterwards.
